It’s time for a council that puts Port Moody Residents First!
We are so lucky to live in this amazing City and I have been fortunate to have lived here for 23 years. I bought my first home here in 2013 and couldn’t imagine living anywhere else. I invite you to join me in making Port Moody better than ever before.
Port Moody needs a change on council. It needs some fresh voices that are committed to restoring the resident's faith in our governance, and in putting our city and its residents first.
It’s time your concerns are heard and taken seriously. I will be responsible with your hard-earned tax dollars and ensure that your funds are allocated to the things you care about.
We need to have an efficient and fiscally responsibly run city now more than ever. Your council needs to work with community building partners for the best results for our community, we need to enhance our green spaces, and upgrade our parks so they are social hubs in our neighbourhoods that bring people together.
When housing is proposed, we need to make sure that there is a balance in what is built so that there are options for all stages of life. We need diversity in unit size and type so that our children, and our seniors will have a place to call home in Port Moody. Our residents shouldn’t have to feel like they have to move away to find housing they can afford, or that meets their lifestyle. Whether you are a senior looking to downsize, or a young adult looking for your first home, you should not have to feel like you need to leave to find a place to live.
It is important to me that our council works together, collaborates, and prioritizes the need of our residents. I want to raise a family here, I want to be able to grow old here, and I want to bring kindness and connection back to our local neighbourhoods. It starts with our council, and I know with your vote on October 15th we can bring positive change and so much more to Port Moody, and we can do it together.
